Chances are the media codes are "CMC MAG AM3" or "RITEKF1". In other words no biggie even for $20. I'd rather pay $25 and get something decent.

If you want some RITEKF1 media cheap and can wait until Black Friday as Best Buy will have 100 pack spindles of Dynex DVD-R for $5 each.

All the Memorex DVD's I've bought have been CMC. I don't buy it anymore. CMC media always has compatibility issues.
