It's hard to equate bargains on name brand alkaline cells unless you have the manufacturer date code so you know how much shelf life remains. At least that's true for my uses of alkalines which are mostly in clocks or remotes, HVAC thermostat, etc., very low drain applications where their end of life is determined by their shelf life more than their capacity.
