The DVD+R is fine, but we hate to deal with BUY."con" uncertainty.
Just go to Office Max and get the Verbatims for $20. No wait for shipping or possibility of damage during shipping.
the TDK brand is a very realiable brand. i never had problems with buy.com. product always came on time and in good shape.
the only thing w/ the officemax..i agree it's a good deal but you need to spend like $50 plus just to get free shipping. i don't mind buying 2 but don't need 3 just to get free shipping.
I've never had any trouble with buy.com either. I avoid marketplace items though unless I can find reviews for the site that's actually selling, so maybe that has something to do with it. Amazon does it too.
I'll just wait until Best Buy has the Verbatim DVD+R DL 20 disc cakes on sale. They typically sell them for about $30 when on sale, but last time I purchased them Best Buy's sale price was $23.
Not competively priced as a 100 disc cake of 4.7GB, but the 8.5GB DVDs typically means less clutter.
Forgot to mention that I used TDK DVDs in the past and I don't recall getting any coasters.
I don't know if the OM deal is online or not, I'm guessing not since it isn't posted here. It's in store.
