Taiyos are the good stuff but I'd recommend sticking with DVD+R.

Verbatim spindle is priced at $20 per spindle. Last couple weeks I have seen them at $15 after rebate.

#3 Why DVD+R??. Nothing against dvd+, Majority of the people buy dvd-r. why? Because it will play on the older dvd player, and it will works with new or old dvd players 90 percent of the time. The dvd+ only works with the newer dvd player, Might not works with the older ones, you don't have to belive this, try it on your own, I spend hours testing these for (FUN) as hobbies..

Taiyo Yuden is a good brand, Matter of fact is Top of the line, That why I cannot afford it. Never use it or own it, So Can't comment on it. But!.. I usually pay 15-18 bucks for 100 of Verbatim,TDK,Memorex,Philips,Fugi,NexxTech,Staple and HP. I have use Sony also, But can never get it cheap under 20 bucks.
