Newegg has the 100 Pack Verbatim 16x DVD-R spindle for $22 - $10 rebate [Exp 9/15] + $0 shipping = $12 shipped. Ideal for recording up to 2 hours of DVD quality home movies and video clips. Here are some pics from my order of these discs - 1, 2. I burned all of them with no coasters.

FYI - they are $23 with a $10 rebate = $13 total, not $12. Still, best deal I've ever seen on a DVD I've burned over a thousand times with only a couple of coasters.

Anything under $15\100 DVD's is a good deal so this one stands out.

Granted these are dirt cheap, but don't expect the normal top of the line Verbatim quality here. These are made in India (orange package), the better quality ones are made in Singapore (purple package).

B/S, I just got these and they are MIT same as always from the egg. FYI, I've had NO problems with MII Verbatim discs. That's an internet myth. MIS discs are DL only. You really need to get informed instead of posting false info.

@9 - 400 reviews and 71% are 5 rating (the highest), 10% are 4. How does that make it "pure unadulterated crap"?

I bought these weeks ago when it was like $14AR, good stuff, Mitubushi Chemical batch, tried about 10 burns, excellent quality PI=8, PIE=0.01. so excellent batch, some lucky people got some made in India and said is about 1/4 coaster. too a chance glade I got some MCC ones.

#5, you are wrong. The one I ordered a couple of weeks ago when this deal was $14 AR are MIT, not MII. You are confused with the Verbatim dual layer media which are mostly made in Singapore.

Yeah K #11. Lets just see how long this crapola cheapo media retains all of your precious data. Don't say you weren't warned when all of you data disintegrates in 2 or 3 years down the line...
