Fun and a decent price. Other brands are about $100 to $150 for just about the same thing.
These were sold by Radio Shack under the Pro-Pulse brand for about $150 list, on sale for $100, and closed out for $50 (if you can still find them).
This is big step up from toy class RC, but still not full "Hobby class" unless you start adding upgrades.

Looks more like a 5 year old's toy than a real R/C

go for HPI or CEN Nitro!

It is 1/18th scale.

You can spend a lot more, but there is nothing near its price that touches it right out of the box.

BTW. It has;
a 2 ch TX 3 ch RX 27 MHz FM radio system.
Independent RX, ESC, and Servos.
4WD with ball diffs at both ends.
Full ball bearings.
4 wheel independent suspension with oil filled shocks.
Replaceable/upgradable motor, suspension, shocks, diffs, gears, wheels, tires, bearings, etc.

One hell of a "toy", and not bad for a (very) low end hobby RC.

Looks at the CEN 1/16 electric buggies, and they look nice also (at the sale price)
