Newegg has the 1000ft Rosewill RCNC-11066 Cat6 Network Cable Blue for $100 - 20% off with coupon code EMCJNJB44 [Exp 10/20] = $80 with free shipping. Features solid copper conductors. Now you can provide high-speed internet to a treehouse or shed.
Also, don't forget that you can't make cable runs longer than 300 feet. The connection will not function properly if you do. Also, solid core wire isn't THAT stiff but I will agree with CompWiz17 in that it should be mostly stationary but it can deal with some movement.
And to chime in with the fellas above, if you're running to crimp connectors instead of keystones a patch panel, make sure to get solid connector crimps.
If you need to make cables to connect computers to switches/routers/wall jacks, look for stranded cable.
Any connector crimp will work for solid. It's the stranded that requires the stranded-rated crimp. Note this isn't plenum cable. Some building codes call for plenum fire rating...Always more pricey anyway...
You can use solid core for connecting wall to clients or to a switch but what you can't do is flex it much after the original wire placement. Probably not worth the bother though since short CAT5e/6 stranded cables are cheap and easy to come by on the internet vs B&M stores.
Note that this is solid copper. So, more for making in-wall runs than making cables to use to connect things.
