i just got this last week from newegg...i think i paid 65 for it from newegg...who by the way had it at my door in ONE DAY...amazing.

anyway...decent keyboard...i don't love the trackball. its not super smooth and i can see it getting worse with more use. but for an htpc kbd..bacon gets the job done. i don't really do any surfing where i might need a slick mouse...just point and click on some movies. i had been pricing the dinovo's...both the mini and the full size kbd...they're just too expensive. i think like 120 for mini and 140 for full size? if you're patient you might wait for a decent sale...i think dell has had the mini for 100 bux.

Geeks.com had a similar BTC keyboard for $19 a week or so ago. Not a very good deal.

I have had mine for a really long time and I must say that I am not that happy with it. The USB dongle is pretty flimsy, the slightest bump and it will break....ooops!

So now that I am on my second unit...The key stroke response is pretty slow, you have to take your time typing, or some letters will be skipped. I would invest a few more dollars in a logitech mini bluetooth keyboard instead.

Mine does everything I need it to do with a HTPC.

I've had this keyboard for about a year now and for the price and features definitely recommend it. The 100ft is BS, i can only go about 15 feet with mine before it starts missing a lot of key strokes. The trackball and scroll wheel make it ideal for HTPC internet surfing. The media buttons and compact size make it nice to take into a different room to cycle through playlist songs. Battery life is also pretty good. I've only had to change my batteries once so far in the year I've owned it. I wish they made this in bluetooth.

Let's hear it for small keyboards! I have an Acer wireless keyboard that also does not have a numeric keypad, and it's been great through 9 years of solid use. I honestly don't understand how a typical user would need a keypad at all, and the keypad makes the entire unit much bulkier on a desktop.

My Acer keyboard has been great for all these years and I suspect this unit would work well, also.
