Na! Probably just blow up in the face.

I bought one last time when the battery was on sale ($3-$4 for battery alone). It worked very well and lasted for similar number of photos as the Cannon battery.

Wow... website busy.

I bought some batteries from them when they sell over eBay. Their battery life is really short. ( they last less than 6 months use). One more problem I have is: I leave the generic battery into the Canon charger- The canon charge can never fully charge the generic battery. That's why they offer you a combo with charger..
After that - no more junky products from eforcity.. ( the same thing applied to another junk seller : iTrimming )

You get what you pay for.
