avoid 1saleaday at all costs.
they are located in brooklyn - or rather, their registered address with the BBB is.. but the location is a building with no "suite 100" nor any 1saleaday company present, and next door (the actual site of the address according to google) is a vacant lot.
they have a bad bad rep with the BBB and i've had my own bad experience with them as well.
too bad too, because hard cases like that get expensive.

I bought several things from them dirt cheap. Even got a free (China made, of course) Disney "pirates" watch shipped for 5 bucks, still working fine.

To give an idea of size. It will hold a ream of paper with about 1/2-3/4" of foam in all directions.
It might hold a lens or a small camcoder, but my SLR would have to have the lens removed and lay on its back to fit. It is cheap because it is too small.
Now it would make a nice case for a pistol.

How well would this work for storing bare 3.5" harddrives?
I have 4 drives I'd like to keep more secure than in a drawer or on a shelf where something could damage the PCB board electronics.
Any suggestions if this case isn't appropriate for drive storage?

How about putting them in a hard drive enclosure? You're welcome.

Thanks for the suggestions.
Wanted something that would keep them all together. Had thought about individual harddrive enclosures. Probably the safest choice.
