People with PCI-E usually already have crappy 7.1 sound. Not that this is really all that bad but it falls in no-mans land, too expensive for those who just want a cheap sound card and too low quality for those who what to splurge on fidelity or gaming effects.

Turtle beach has been in the game a long time.. nothing wrong with the quality of them.
They have made cards since the ISA days.

This is for PCI. I have a Turtle Beach Santa Cruz card and it's great. I especially like the 10-channel graphic equalizer that I use to tune my speakers and room with pink noise and one of the RTA software tools.

Some people on newegg have been complaining that they've been waiting for 64 bit drivers for a long time... well the drivers have been there, I've been using them for a while now, you need to download the drivers off Diamond's website ( Diamond monster sound DDL) as they're the exact same card marketed under two different companies. Turtle beach' support/drivers suck but those diamond drivers have been very stable on xp and vista. my card is a turtle beach.
