Maybe a good deal for this specific drive, but if you mainly just care about space, all the recent 1 TB's for $80 are a better deal.

It's the platter design in this one that makes it a steal. This will run much faster than any 1TB SATA drive.

How does the platter design make it run much faster? Does it stagger storage between the 2 for more simultaneous reads? Or is it just in multitasking?
