not bad for a refurb

going down the list, it seems Ben like to post a lot of refurbished items. is this consider as 2nd handed store? or deal site

They are direct from Microsoft and for all purposes new. Why the complaint?

the post was on Ben for posting alot of refurbished, what's your problem? all Refurbished are not New! Best Refurbished (like New) came from Apple, again, they are refurbished.

Zune > iPod

I brought 2 refurb Zunes from Woots. One came like new but the other is scratched up quite a bit in the front screen. Too lazy to return it so I give one away as gift and kept the other one.

My refurb iphone was so nice that it is 100% like new.

Most of you miss the point here. Woot puts up their deal at 1:00 am Eastern time. Took Ben the better half of the day to even mention it. By the time most deals get put up here...They have been lapped up by the REAL GHETTO DOGS from other sites.

To Ben(the staff), Please speed up, other sites are putting you to shame. I check my email in the morning and have seen more than half of what you post throughout the day before 8AM... the rest I find on other sites usually long before you post. You have for some reason gotten slower at this deal thing... I am very sad for you...I only return for the comments now.

BTW, please stop the SPAMMING in the personal messaging service you have. 3-5 a week now from some Asian/Russian site. I don't open them, but the spelling looks like the odd letters used in those countries.

Every day there is a deal at Woot!, #10. So instead of Ben posting what they put up there every day at midnight central time, you could just go there at midnight central time and see the item being offered for sale.

The real problem is that by the time you get up at 8am, that item may be sold out. If that's the case, then you're gonna bitch that Ben posted a deal that isn't available anymore.

So perhaps, my dear #10, the real problem here is you. You're never going to be happy, are you? You'll always find something to complain about. I am very sad for you, too.

Still available at 11:35pm. White only but not a bad price so I picked one up. BTW #11 I have purchased many refurb items over the years and have never had a problem with any. Sometimes I think refurb is probably better than new as the item may have had a problem and it's now fixed. While a new one seems to break right after the warranty expires or the terms of the warranty make it not economical to return.

Missed the point #12. Ben needs to post the deal as soon as it is found...within minutes to hours so more of his followers can get in on the best deals()not that this is one of them).

I am up and often wait for the woot deal to show at 1:00AM my time. So don't be an ass and think you are all that. I am just saying the facts...Ben use to be on top of the best and latest deals. Other sites and my morning emails from various companies tend to show me more then Ben nowadays.

#14/JinOH - YOU are the one that is missing the point. If you've been following Ben's site for as long as you say you have, then you know that he doesn't post 90% of woot's deals. If you actually understood WHY he posts woot deals late, you wouldn't come off so clueless. Woot has a deal every single day at 1a EST. If you want to know the deal right away, just check at that time. There is no searching or surprise sales. Now for the part that you don't understand - when woot is experiencing sluggish sales, they call in the ringers (such as Ben) and give them an affiliation bonus to boost sales later in the day. If an item is selling well, no need to give a handout to Ben for his advertising, therefore he doesn't post the deal. Oh - you thought Ben just loved you and that's why he 'searches' for deals for you? Get a clue - it's a business.

I haven't seen a single deal on fleas, #15, unless you count being near #19.

Going back to the real subject here, the zune 30gb.
I purchased 2 of these over a year and a half from woot.com for 5 dollars more than this time but a travel pack was also included w/ the purchase of 2. Anyway, I got a white and a black one which I gave to my 19 year old nephew. We both use it everyday, both look new out of their box and function as new. We both updated the softwarer, we have lots of music and movies and pictures. I love the fact that it comes w/ FM. Now we even have games since the new software allows them. I picked 6 of them this time since I regreted not getting more then and never saw them for so low, check e-bay and other sites, even the used ones sell for a lot, they hold their value more than the ipods. The battery on both still last a long time. I really love my Zune and my nephew loves his to. These are well made, last long MP3s. Great deal for the money and no problem w/ the refurbished.
