It was suppose to be a nice GPS. Too bad it turned out to be such a piece of crap

this is a pretty good deal . i doubt you can find anything 5.8 inch screen for this price. trust me you would want at least 4.3 inch screen. i have a 3.5 navigation. when you are driving in a freeway or in some places lets say San Fransisco. you would want a bigger screen. its because you are in an unfamiliar territory. (i live in los angeles)

it got a lot of bad reviews. GPS not too user friendly, bluetooth pretty useless, traffic subscription useless, overall not a great unit, unless you just want it for media purposes and some nav then its ok.

Depending on features and budget Ghost Rider pick between Garmin or Tom Tom. I have the Garmin 760 and it works pretty well. I agree with #4 in that the smallest screen you should consider is 4.3 inch.

#5 I read a lot of the reviews on Amazon, and they are mixed, but overall rating is pretty high and the reviews positive. The 3 main complaints I see are with the microphone and speaker quality, as well as the voice recognition is for dialing and music playback, not navigation, and interface can be sluggish. It looks like it has a good hacking following over at http://avic411.com/forum/. It is a Windows CE OS, which probably explains the ability to hack it as well as it's sluggishness.
