They are some of the slowest modern flash drives on the market. There's no reason at all to buy Kingston's low end offerings unless your heart falls for the casing design, which IMO looks like generic cheap plastic but at least it's reasonably sturdy.

speed is fine for most people's uses. But these used to go for ~$10 for 8gb and $20 for 16gb.
