Decent remote, my wife actually was able to figure it out without my instruction. First one I got from Newegg had a busted #2 button but the RMA process was quick from Logitech and the replacement worked fine.

The only difference between this and the Harmony One is the One has a touch screen. I have the One, and have been very happy with it. This is a good deal.

I have been using this remote for about 4 years now... it's very easy to program and use.. my only two complaints are:

    (1) the charging terminals need to be wiped with a clean cloth or paper towel frequently otherwise the terminals don't make proper contact and the remote doesn't charge.. some people get around this by putting a roll of quarters (or something small and heavy) on the remote while it's "docked"..

    (2) the volume button is very thin and hard to find without looking sometimes.. once you get used to the remote you can find it fairly easily, but it's not ideal...

I think the Harmony One addresses both of those issues, but it's fairly more expensive.. this is a great remote at for under $100 imo.

I have two of these and have been very happy with them! The newer charging terminal has a magnet on it so #1 of #3's response is no longer a problem. Great remote!

I've had one for about 2 years and have 1 complaint. When switching activities that require the TV channel to go to a different input, it only ever switches it correctly 25ish% of the time requiring me to do the help menu and tell the remote it's not on the correct TV input.

I find if the inputs are only 1-3 cycles away it changes fine, but 4+ it usually fudges up.

In the TV menu, you can jump directly to any input without cycling through. I'm not sure why switching act ivies it cycles to the correct input instead of directly going there. I've been meaning to wire Logitech about this.

#5 - You might have a hard time finding a telegraph service to wire Logitech (I suggest you try using a telephone or email).

I got a new one for this price. Why mess with refurbished? Yes IR interference can cause some extensive configurations to fail sometimes. My main complaint is that key placement could be better. Compared to my DVR remote it takes 2 hands to do too many things. Yes I'm lazy...

I noticed that canadian bacon ppl gravitate to these. Saw one on Tom Cruises nightstand during an interview he made with the Ghost of Liberace

hey #5, you can add a second or two of delay between steps that might cure the problem...that's what I had to do when I had a similar issue.

#1, if your wife was able to figure it out then Bush can figure it out.
