I purchased one for my external HDD, and i think you guys have it all wrong, the enclousre is all metal, and then there is a metal mesh above the bay where the HDD resides, the leather wont hurt anything, you just open the cool looking enclosure. Better than anything out there. only pblem I have with his is that i paid 17.99 for mine. package inlc, disk, screws, screwdriver and extension usb cord. Well worth the money I spent for the item. I got my enclosure kit from Amazon. 17.99 with free shipping.

Just use contact paper, woodgrain finish, and save $30. It will go with the decor in your trailer home.
