I love the 300 meters water resistant feature. Now I can go snorkling on my mom without fear (of a damaged watch, I will still get mouth AIDS).

if your mom has AIDS, there's a fair chance you already have it.

Lemans watches run very fast for 24 hours and then are done.

Why do I want/need "black carbon fiber dial?" Prolly just black plastic.

#5, the carbon fiber dial has a checkered pattern appearance that would not be easily duplicated in plastic. Whether that is important I leave to you to decide, but I think it does look nicer than a solid matte colored dial and if it were shinier it would reduce the contrast between the dial and markers in brightly lit environments. Overall the bezel looks too large for the bracelet IMO, and the whole thing a bit generic looking, but the carbon fiber texture against silver markers is the nicer appearance feature.

Ummm...isn't carbon fiber's full name CFRP (Carbon Fiber Reinforced Plastic)? So to answer your query "carbon fiber dial? Prolly just...plastic"...you are right, either way. Even if it is carbon fiber, it's still plastic.

That would be like saying the full name for steel is "steel can". Carbon fiber can be used a number of ways besides reinforcing plastic. When carbon fiber is used to structurally reinforce plastic, it is because they wanted a lightweight stress bearing part.

The face of the watch bears no stress, there would be no reason to bind it to plastic as that would just make it thicker, except to keep all the carbon fibers together like a backing on a decal, but they would as likely just use an adhesive instead because even if it had a plastic backing it would need an adhesive still.
