    can't be overclocked. they lock the OCing features in the bios.
    so even though $899 is not bad the OCing is.

    You can get the exact same configuration from the Dell Outlet for 659$ refurbished right now (It's the Studio XPS 435 Mini Tower).

    yep, got mine for 650, with 4Gb though, from Outlet. was able to upgrade to 9 (3 x (2+1)) by getting 3x2Gb tri channel from newegg for 65. This thing flies...
    True, can't be overclocked (presumably can be overclocked to 3.8GHz), unless you stick it into a different motherboard when you get tired of the Dell (Foxconn?). Deal last week was also 899, hasn't changed.
    Also changed power supply from my old upgraded XPS 400 with 500W to this one and gave it a GDDR4 HD graphics card. Yes finally a standard PSU fits without gaps or other problems. Can't beat the price with an i7 core at this point.
