Anybody got any good reasons why I shouldn't get this? I am an average mope user, not a gamer. I do edit photos, do not need HD.

Anybody know of any better buys?

if you edit photos then i'd recommend you spend 40 dollars more and get the other 22" dell ultrasharp the 2209wa. you get ips panel which has superior color reproduction and superior overall quality. you also have some stand adjustability with that model. the only advantage of this screen is the led backlight (which i like) and a couple of bucks. for yours uses e photos - i hear ips is the way to go. depends on how much you care about color accuracy.

Thanks a bunch, greengoblin. In the meantime, I pulled up some reviews and found exactly what you said, that the 2209WA could be better for me. With today's coupon, which also works on the 2209 AW, the bottom line difference is $28.

Thanks for the time you took to reply.

but you save a lot of energy so if you want to be ecoconscious, or already are... you should get this. Less than 20watts power consumption means you can get the most out of your solar power system. It's less than 1/2 the power of a normal monitor. and it will last longer.
