based on the history this sentence seems to be part of the description that ben uses for this model. EVERY one says this regardless of price, even when it was 199 last august!
I had a mio, and a garmin nuvi and now have a tomtom one 3rd edition. the tom tom is easily my least favorite of the 3. the display sucks compared to the other 2 and the windshield mount is junk. I reccomend the garmin nuvi or if you want something cheap get the magellan refurb that was $50 here recently.
