This doesn't seem like that great a deal. Just going to pricegrabber lists this as $599 for free delivery and no tax outside of NY State. What am I missing here?

This is kit package (AbesOfMaine) which has extra battery and some goodies. Noted that this camcorder only records to internal flash (from what I heard).

A lot of people don't understand that most digital cameras can do only MJPEG compression which is the worst form of compression.
