isn't the T3400 a pentium dual core? correct me if i'm wrong.

That's odd. The System Summary shows P7450 for the processor.

Sweet. I've been waiting for a good deal on a 14 inch laptop like this. LED screen, fast processor and dedicated video. Just ordered one.

So, is this a good deal? If not, what is a good deal?

Uhh I got the stripped down Y430 w/ 2G DDR3 a few months ago. Got the 4G DDR3 kit from Newegg for like $50. And I think the laptop was like $429. SO this seems a bit expensive. But I only get a 160G HD. The low end Y430 while not listed on the main Lenovo web site doesnt list a LED backlight but it does, check the detailed specs.. Good luck

What makes this a good deal is the fast processor and dedicated video card. If you were to buy the processor separately, it would cost you more than $200. So, the memory is $50, the HD is $55, and the processor is $200+. Plus you are getting a much better video card.
