I have a mixed opinion about this device. Great functionality but it's not all that stable. Watch was exposed to light rain once and never worked after that. Customer service told me tough luck. I guess you get what you pay for.

I've had the opposite experience. Although I never take it swimming, it has gotten submerged in water when I went ocean paddling and drenched in rain and it keeps on working.

#1 - "you get what you pay for"...For $130 dollars I would expect this watch to be water proof and certainly light rain proof...just me tho.

I bought this for my wife nearly 2 years ago for jogging. We've never really had a complaint. It's one of those products that "just works." (Though she often forgets to charge it - you can't really blame the product.)

#3, that comment from #1 confused me too. I've only had my 305 in light showers, but it's been fine.

#6 is correct about this being a refurb.

I bought this two years ago, and I love it! It takes about a minute to grab satellite (I leave it outside while I grab last minute stuff for my run). Battery life is great. Return to start feature works pretty well. I've had no problems with water, and it's been in heavy rains and heavy sweats multiple times. Even as a refurb, it is still half what I paid for it, so I think worth it.

Got this for the fiance a few years ago. She loves it, we're getting another one for a family friend.

My Heart Rate chest strap needed a new lithium CR2023 battery this week, no big deal.
Great tool for tracking your run time, distance and HR. Never been at a better price.
