Only has the 900 MHz Intel Mobile CPU. Bit on the slow side.

Celeron is supposed to be slightly faster than atom in benchmark tests but it real world apps, the hyper threaded atom tends to be faster. 900mhz celeron is also more of a battery pig. Still, this is not a bad deal if all you want is a really small windows PC.

About $30 more than recent deals for a similar laptop, but with the Atom instead of the Celeron. I snagged one of the 7" versions of these recently, NEW, for $150, and while I'm already thinking that maybe I should have gone for teh 8.9" screen, and will definitely need to upgrade the ram from 512mb to 2gb, it works great for what I bought it for which is as an e-reader, light surfing, and watching some cartoons with my son just before bed.
