So the pack weighs 6lbs, but the details on this say:
Shipping Weight (in pounds): 3.35
They must use helium filled bags for packing material.
Half the reviews say it was a good buy because they paid $20 for it. At $60 not a deal Ben.

Not even a deal at $20, are you going to hold it like a baby on the hike back because it broke halfway through? Maybe pro mountain climbers need extra light packs, for anyone else if you can haul your 250 lb carcass around you can carry a backpack that weighs 8lbs, and even that is probably overkill, decent packs can weigh less than that though they cost even more.
