Yes. Definitely on the flimsy side. After using for only a couple of weeks, I was shocked to find the view screen cracked down the middle. I also have the Flip Ultra and prefer it's ease of use. The "HD" designation is a bit misleading as the video is quite grainy. Not bad for the price, just don't plan on ditching your larger cam-corder for videos you wish to keep.

this does not seem like a solid camera and you might break it after a few uses.
