Same here #1. I have this burner now and it works fine, but I got it at close to this price without a rebate.

If this wasn't way overpriced to begin with the rebate might actually make it a deal. Normally 23.99 with free shipping @ newegg with no pesky rebate. Its out of stock there though.

readily available at microcenter if you have one nearby for $24.99 (or sometimes less) w/o rebate which also includes dvd ram support.
