Memory not upgradeable. No image stabilization. High price as compared to it's competitors. Pass. Also, the claim of only camera with HDMI connectivity to the TV is incorrect. My Aiptek HD has this connectivity-at a much cheaper price.

Is there anything with a comparable price that records in 1080i?
    #6   drpud - Posted 3:27 pm PDT 06/9/09 (253 Posts)
Yes. Aiptek, Kodak, etc make HD P&S units at or below a $100 price point that record in 720p. These players will output to 1080i to view (at least the Aiptek one does). Although the internal memory is limited in these, SD cards are so cheap or available around the house, they are better deals. Keep in mind that although these players "record in HD" do not expect crystal clear videos as pixelation is common as these players have heavy compression and mediocre CCD's. They are hugely convenient just don't expect to take archival footage with them.

mr2uboy, that is a pretty nice video. Looks crystal clear. Does it look that on your TV at home?
