I was once in a desperate situation when a tire was flat and the spared was flat too (yes, stupid, I know). There was a black gentleman offering help using a converter and an electronic pump. Still remember his name, Lenny. He said I was lucky because he's never filled his tank in that station where there was no air pump/compressor.
I am looking for a set like his, and hopefully could help somebody one day just like him, a good Samatarian!
Boring story, eh? But you taught me a lesson, Lenny. Thanks a lot!

Cheer for Lenny.
I have a powerpack with pump/light/jumpstart/ac convert.
Ever since I bought it I don't need it. ha So far I only used it to help others. LOL Help jump start a cop's motorcycle too. haha

inverters are nice to have if you have the need.. but you don't need one for an air pump.. they make the style that clamps right to your battery or can be used through the cigarette lighter..
that would probably be easier than whatever Lenny had. lol.

I've got one (not a refurb!) and use it ocassionally to charge laptop and run a dvd player for a child. Comes in handy when you need it.

if your car does not hace a 110v outlet these are a must. even if it's 400 watts you can run lots of items. for the $ it's cheaper then buying several 12vdc converters for your electronics to use in the car. plus i ue mine with a power strip to plug in several items at once.
