HA! Yeah, Dell has been taking it in the shorts lately. I wonder how deep the discounts will get before they bust or are bought-out.

I apologize but I find the Dell website very confusing. How do I configure a system and try to apply one of the above coupons? Can I assume that using the coupon invalidates all of the "free" items Dell is offering in a configuration on any given day (g, "Free 1 GB memory", or "Free DVD Writer", etc)? Thanks for any help. S Do I understand from other comments elsewhere that Dell typically has better deals in August for the "back to school" season?

Where is that joker that kept telling us there would be a 40% off coupon at the end of July?
#4, coupons don't invalidate any of the free upgrades, but they are supposed to invalidate any rebates. Those "back to school" comments are sarcasm. Dell's "back to school" specials are usually pretty bad.
