It will work if you have a IDE connection.
Take out your old drive and take the specialized docking parts.
Transfer them to the new drive and plug the new drive with old parts from your other drive.
The End.

Not just the specialized docking parts. But you have to make sure the front cover fits, if not, you need to swap the front cover with your old drive. Keep mind, not all front overs are the same.
