Its a 2 DIN device. A typical car radio would be 1 DIN some of the cars like my old honda had a 1 DIN radio with a "storage" box underneath which could be pulled and replaced with a 2 DIN device. What kind of car do you want to put in?

typically there is a screen enable switch hooked up to the e-brake circuit so when that is engaged the screen will be on, but while it's disengaged the screen is off... all you need to do to defeat this is ground out the e-brake circuit wire.

I think most Toyota's have a double DIN Stereo.
I wouldn't recommend this unit it looks very cheaply made.
