The 3 cost twice as much. Does not mean better buy, because it is the latest.

The Jawbone 2 is kind of neat... I wanted to truly test it out so I turned on the noise killer and walked next to my dryer. The person on the other end of the line said they couldnt hear a the dryer (they did hear some clicking) and I sounded great.
I then tried my old 20 buck moto headset and they hung up on me.
I guess the lesson is only test on headset per phonecall with a friend on the line.

The noise cancellation technique is state of the art. So far the only competitor is the Motorola XH1 Bone Conduction.

My v3 drops Bluetooth quite a bit and the sound quality is not as good as the original.
I wish it were not so.

After the first jawbone, I got a bit disenchanted. The buttons are hidden. You have to push down hard if you can find the buttons while driving/working/etc. You have to make sure the rubber thing is held against your jaw or else it don't work. It ain't very comfortable jamming a rubber grommet in your ear.
This new version should be more comfortable, but you still have jam the thing into your face constantly to make sure the jaw piece sticks.
When they come out with a earpiece that has buttons that you can feel, comfort like the one above, and a laser like they use for measuring sidewalls and stud distances instead of a rubber french tickler, then I'll go for it. Until then, I'm gonna use the call center looking voyager pro so I don't die in a fiery crash trying to turn the fking volume up while repeatedly jamming it into my ear.

agreed. Buttons stink. Especially that there is no volume rocker switch. But overall it's an amazing headset. Works great in my convertible
