this mis a good price. my video car came with this and was told it would have been an extra $15. and the card was comp price to ones without the adapter.

I've bought a couple of these from Eforcity through amazon and you can usually find it at about this price there. Not sure why they mark it up on their own website.

2.99 with free shipping from meritline.com. This is the regular price, and no coupons, etc. Part number 253-456-001. I just ordered one as I got a blu-ray play for my BD and my TV does not have an HDMI port (only DVI).

what kind of POS TV would not have an HDMI port?

hopefully you don't have this item that requires this.

#4, a non-POS TV that was bought just before HDMI appeared. My Sony we610-series has an HDCP-compliant DVI input; no HDMI in sight. I got my equivalent of this at Monoprice, along with an HDMI switchbox.

Too bad this is only single link. No sound over HDMI
