Got one, makes good copes, but the ink is a killer. My complaint is I have problems with the Cannon carts, they keep saying their is a problem and this is not the case. If the error light is on nothing works -- a very frustrating machine.

The ink on canon's go out quick. I would get a laser printer.

I've had a MP530 for about 6 months. One of the original ink cartridges would give me a error almost every time I tried to print. Take out cartridge and reinsert and it would print. Then the next time I would try to print it would do the same thing. Called Canon and they sent me a new cartridge. OK since then. Cartridges don't last very long. Bought a set of 5 generic's on eBay for $22 and they are working OK.
Good prints, mediocre scanner, haven't tried fax.

I complained to Cannon and they also sent me a free cart. The problem is now the other colors are acting up. One error message says, I have two carts with the same color -- NO! What annoys me is I only print in black so the other colors never get used, but the printer won't work unless everything is correct.
