these keep going down in price. Too bad its not a sliding compound miter.

I have a similar model. I paid about $30 (with tax) more in the store and it came with a metal stand. If you have room, get one with the stand and use the table/horses you were going to use to support long lumber. Quality isn't too bad for what it costs.
