    How ironic. I just convinced myself (on the Sears thread) that I'm happy with my 3-year-old 50" 720p Panny, then saw this and could only think one thing: "Want it."

    great TV, compares to pioneer kuro. you won't be disappointed. RKLE - plasma is better than LCD, remember.

    #8 - you forgot to mention "at the same price point". LED back lit LCDs have equally good black level (if not better) while generating less heat & consuming a lot less power. Motion/pan blur is still an issue with many 240Hz models, but have less flickering issue than plasmas for viewing 24p (film) material. But when you consider the price, it's hard to ignore these Panasonic plasmas.
