So besides telling time what else can it do? check my email? open my garage door? I'm not seeing much value here. The bank downtown has a free clock out front.

If you're just going to hang out in front of the bank all day so you know what time it is, why would it matter what time it is?

#1, no it can't check your email, nor can it open your garage door. Nor will the battery go dead every 2 days, it's batteries cost way less than the cost of charging a cell phone, and replacing its battery every few years, and you don't look like an ass when you are just checking the time on your cell phone, but it looks like, to anyone else, you could be checking for texts.

Plus, it's jewelry. A fashion accessory. Yeah, it might be a lame reason to get one, but it's why cars come in more than 1 color, it's why companies put their logos on the things they sell, and why we don't all run around in sweatpants and t-shirts all of the time.

Hold on there Joe, I'd much rather a woman in a t -shirt and sweatpants than wearing a watch. Then again, you're right, if the choice is wearing a watch or wearing a t-shirt and sweatpants...
