Anyone have a good recommendation for a 1/2 height card with HDMI output & AGP interface? This would go in a Dell GX260 (needs to be 1/2 height)

    Thanks.

Mich get a Asus Radeon 3450 in AGP flavor with native HDMI in half height for around $50. I have a GX280 that was fun finding a video card for.

yeah, I saw the card but the reviews saying it likely wont fit in a narrow slot. So for tigh space it kinda defeat the purpose of half height card. This one is not slim.

true, I had to bash my case to get it to fit right, had to leave the case open a bit. Ended up getting the tower case off eBay and swapping guts.

    TheMax7,
    tuan2,

Thanks for the comments. Newegg reviews are pretty bad - I do not think it will fit in my case - it did not fit in your case TheMax7. Newegg comments seem to indicate that the orientation of the 4-pin power connector is oriented poorly.

Any other suggestions from anyone with direct experience? IF not I will search newegg & try one.

    Thanks for the input!

#7 What reviews your looking at NE, You must look at the 6 poor reviews. Here the better way to look at reviews at NE, you suppost to add Excellent and Good together = 84% good reviews. Never belive what you read, I laught so hard when people say they are Tech Level: High and they have about two to three RMA on mother board return, would'nt post, A Ect,ect.. I built system 15 years ago, Never have a BAD Board, Never consider myself Mr. Know it all or Tech level High, Just average And we all have so many things to learn. Yea!.. I have board that is Dead after 3month, 6month 2 years down the road. But NoT brand New Ship and Yes, I belive there's a few bad board got bang-up during shipping, drop ect,ect..

About this card. I bought one last week and I like it so much that I bought one again two days ago, I'am using two different Name and address. Pair this up with my ASRock A780GMH and Phenom II 550 with 4 gb of G Skill memory 800. OC it to 3.7ghz Stable, with this video card I'am able to Overclock again. Vista Ult show 1.0 with Onboard memory of 512mb Once I but this in and retest, It say Areo 4.2 and 3D 4.9 and my CPU jump from 5.4 to 5.8 everything move in two seconds. Paid 20.00 bucks on the first one after mail-rebates, the second one only 15 A/R. By the way this can pair up using as Dual CrossFireX set-up, If only your board have dual PCI Express slot, Mine only have one.. Yes, I would pay 35 bucks even with no rebates make a huge difference on graphic, speed up my system and help out my CPU. Win,Win. Suituation for me.. Recommended..
