It has the 120 hz... but I still see motion blur on my 120hz vizio... how does this one compare?

During sports or while watching movies? Because from what I understand the 120 hz can make movies actually look worse unless you change certain settings (like "anti-judder" I believe)

This is a great deal for the TV size and 120hz, definitely the best I've seen.

The motion compensation technologies (anti-judder) are really only recommended with HD signals. If you run it with analog TV, it will look worse. Unnatural, even. They usually have multiple settings too. Samsung has 3 settings. Medium to high is best with 1080p. Low to medium is best with 1080i and 720p. And I use the lowest setting with my upscaling DVD player. I turn it off completely with analog input. The 120hz doesn't really do much at all that most people can see. It's pretty much a hype thing, with bigger numbers supposedly being better. It's motion compensation technology that makes the visible difference, which is probably what you are referring to with the anti-judder setting.

As to this TV, this is a decent deal.

I really wish I had a grand to blow. This is an awesome deal. I freaking love my LG. It's only 42" though. Sad

Go with a Panasonic G10 or G15 series Plasma. They are pretty cheap right now. Better picture than a LCD hands down.

At Sam's Club they had the 47" Vizio 120 Hz next to several other non-120 Hz TVs and as I walked by some credits were rolling. For what it's worth, the Vizio was scrolling very smoothly and the others were noticeably jerky by comparison. I have no idea how the TVs were set.
