Toughbook = behind the technology curve, and easily twice as much money as anything with comparable specs. These cases are great for people who have to ship their equipment around all the time.
Normal laptop in a pelican case will be more resilient than a toughbook in a normal laptop case. I know from experience. Besides, you can use this case with your next 10 laptops. You can upgrade every year to stay up with technology. Try doing that with a toughbook. My wallet isn't that fat. <_<
