#1, you are incorrect. The Looj goes both forward and reverse. The looj works best in a long straight gutter. When it reaches the end, click the remote to reverse to return the looj to the starting position.
The Looj can remove light gutter debris, but it won't clean out heavy mud or branches. Also, the Looj can't turn corners, it only goes straight. So, it may not be worthwhile if you don't have long straight lengths of gutter.

Seems to me you'd still have to climb the ladder 4 times unless you stayed up on it during each gutter cleaning.

These are cool, but they make a big mess if you haven't cleaned the eaves in a while. You do NOT have to move your ladder to pick it up at the other end, as it does have a remote. It's a neat item, but my neighbor (who has a ranch) gets more use out of it than I do. He gives me a 6-pack (Blue Moon this time) everytime he borrows it and it's a win-win. The battery life is fine for an average-sized home.

I purchased one of these last year and agree with #3. If the leaves are wet and heavy the motor cannot handle them. I had trouble with the Looj getting stuck under some of the brackets (perhaps because the leaves/med in the bottom reduced the clearanec.
Great concept - just needs a stronger motor!
BTW, prepare to get dirty - if there is water in the gutters, this is like standing next to a wet dog when he shakes...

Sounds like they need a 2nd version of this Looj.
