Looks like this is actually 2 kits, the HD radio and the install kit - sold separately on Amazon.

So, it receives HD Radio and retransmits it as FM? Thats about as brilliant as playing a CD into an FM modulator, the quality is lost.

#3, it has a wired OR modulator option. And even if it did use the FM modulator, part of the HD'casting is the sub-channels not available on analog.

i have a panasonic car audio deck with HD radio, but its only the HD-1 stations that it receives, i got one so i can get the stations between the stations (HD-2 HD-3, etc..)
