The silicone skins are cheap and not the way to go for the iPhone. They just end up wearing out and collecting a lot of dirt (especially lint if you carry it in your pocket). There are many soft/hard cases out there that do a good job and look good doing it. There's no reason to go cheap if you're rolling an iPhone after all.

Cases like the incase slider or similar are the way to go.
