Don't compare wattages across, each manufacturer calculates wattages at different frequencies, which makes it impossible to compare.
This system puts out very poor midrange response which means that you will have to turn up the volume to at least 50% to hear what the actors are saying. The build quality is extremely cheap, something like home-made stuff....

Panasonic makes the best (most articulate) htib's in the $500 range, with their SA and SC series.

Years ago I got a good deal on an RCA TV, so I bought a RCA VCR and a RCA DVD player so the remotes would work together. Just after the warranty was up, all 3 items broke down within months of each other! Since then, my opinion is RCA=Crap.
