Interesting stuff. I wonder how much of a performance gain you would get with a 3-way SLI/crossfire? I've also heard that triple channel memory shows like no gains...

sli can help a bit w/ large monitor sizes (esp 2560x1600). mostly a marketing gimmick (tho folding@home folks like myself can put the cards to use)
