$5 a pop. That's a pretty expensive coaster! I'll stick with my $0.20 each discs and use an upconverter player for now!

$5 each isn't bad (for blu ray) I remember a few months ago they were like $15 per disc. I'm gonna have to buy some of these soon.

Is it worth the high price?

I remember the days of the $2 5 1/4" floppies. Times sure have changed.

not the $15 per disc it once was, but if you have a bad burn, then you will be hacked like no other.

i sure am glad blueray won the format wars so we can finally see lower prices as everyone agreed on the one format... what a scam.

I thought cd's were supposed to be cheaper than hard drives.

These are better (more durable) than CDs and DVDs, aside from the obvious higher capacity. $5 a disc ain't bad but Memorex just had their 15-pack for $45 on buy.com. Decent deal either way.

Also for you coaster complainers, I've burned about 20 discs so far and not a single coaster. Every blu burner I've seen so far has "no coaster" tech too.
