In the picture, the Ipod seems to be blocking the speaker. Is this intended as a design feature?

Maybe the speaker is only in the top half of the enclosure.

#1, same thing I noticed the last time this set was posted as a deal... $55 for a set of speakers with such an obvious design flaw doesn't give me high hopes of quality...
