Wow, I have one of these in a box in my attic. It is a 1700+. but still, pretty much the same thing when you compare it to a cheap last-gen X2.

You can probably find better deals on Craigslist for machines like this.

If you really want a Geeks project, they offer this complete P4 2.8 system for about the same price, and it includes Windows XP Pro SP3 on disk. http://www.geeks.com/details.asp?invtid=GX280-MAR-2-R&cat=SYS Just spend a few bucks to upgrade the RAM and add a video card and grandma will be zipping around the internets in no time!

Best posted a far better barebones system for $60 dollar more at compusa. This computer is good for basic office work but not much more.
